TuneLT starts with clear microphone pitch detection, then adds the tools players need before and after tuning: preset management, scanned tuning charts, setlists, and portable sharing.
The tuner screen keeps the current note, cents offset, target string, instrument body, and A4 reference setting close together. Players can tune one string at a time without interpreting a crowded chromatic meter.
TuneLT treats alternate tunings as reusable objects. Built-in tunings can be copied, edited, transposed, favorited, and added to setlists so players do not rebuild the same setup for every song.
When a tuning chart is in a book, image, or screenshot, TuneLT can scan note names and let the player review the detected strings before saving them as a preset.
Preset and setlist data can be moved through .tunelt files, JSON, QR codes, and app links. This supports collaboration without requiring an account or uploading microphone audio.

No. Microphone pitch detection runs on device. Network access may be used by store, subscription, ads, analytics, or optional platform services, but tuning itself does not require a TuneLT backend.
